Paimentupa is located at the hillside of Paimenenvaara in the famous Koli National Park.

We provide accommodation and food services around the year for individuals, families and groups.

You can explore the nature by riding on our Icelandic Horses, hiking or cross-country skiing. You can take riding lessons, go downhill skiing on the Koli-slopes (distances: 3 and 10 km), or participate in any of the other activities in the area.

We can also offer packages to your needs.

All services can be provided also in English and German.

Horseback-riding in the nature of Koli

If you want to discover the impressive Koli area in an extraordinary way, our friendly and calm Icelandic horses will be happy to show you around.

Independent of whether you are an experienced rider, or have never been on a horse before, our instructors will introduce you to the nature of our horses and lead you through the countryside. Individuals, families and small groups can find the right program.

Apart from our 11 Icelandic Horses, our stables include also a Finnhorse and a Russpony. All instructions are given in Finnish, German, English or Swedish.

Reservations have to be made at least one day in advance.
